Training Needs Self Assessment Questionnaire - Finance Administration

The questionnaire is based on a set of skills and knowledge required in order to complete key financial tasks within schools. The financial tasks included are:

  • Expenditure

  • Income & Banking

  • Month End

  • Year End

  • Petty Cash

  • Purchasing Cards

  • School Fund

  • Lettings


  • Full instructions are included within the Questionnaire.

    The Finance Administration Training Programme and Standalone Courses have been aligned to the questionnaire to make it easier for you to access the training you need based on your results. You will be able to find either a Tutor-led or E-Learning course for each of the key financial tasks in the questionnaire.

    Once you have completed your questionnaire, take a look at results page. This will show you a summary of your responses and you should be able to identify from this any training needs that you have. This will give you a basis for discussions with your Headteacher on how to go about fulfilling those training needs.
