Update on Barclays eSigning Software (GEMALTO)
Ensure you are using the latest version of Gemalto eSigner software to protect yourself from cyber-threats
Barclays has a new version of the Gemalto e-signing software (version 6.4) which provides the latest protection against cyber-threats and the most reliable and secure experience when using Barclays Digital (online) Channels.
Therefore it is critical that every school using Barclays online upgrades to this latest version of the Barclays eSigner software.
Upgrading
Download sites can be found on the Barlays.net login page.
Please note that this software supports ONLY Internet Explorer 11 and Mozilla Firefox ESR 52 on the Windows operating systems. Before installing the update it is recommend that you check compatibility, and ensure you comply with the Barclays Hardware and Software requirements and with any other Smart Card service which you may operate.
