Meet the Executive Director of Norfolk Children's Services
Sara Tough, the Executive Director of Norfolk Children's Services is keen to meet with education leaders in a number of ways. She is hoping to attend some of the termly leadership update meetings, when she can and so far has met with the secondary leaders at an NSEL meeting last term. She hopes to attend the Schools Forum when dates allow and she will be making some visits to schools in the next couple of terms.
In addition, I am setting up a session for school leaders that would like an opportunity to come and meet Sara and hear from her, as well as share ideas and perspectives on the Norfolk education landscape.
Sara will be keen to talk with you about some of the key challenges facing Norfolk schools as you see them and as we see them. She will be happy to talk through the recent inspection of Children's Services and where we go next. Sara is very committed to improving the integration of services for children in Norfolk and recognises the huge value and role that schools have to play.
The date this term is:
June 6th, 09:00-10:30, Woodside Centre, Witard Road, Norwich NR7 9XD.
This session is open to Headteachers, Principals and Heads of School.
The session will be limited to about 25 leaders so if the demand is there I will set up further dates later in the term.
