Old Cheque Books to Become Invalid Soon - How to Order a New Cheque Book
Urgent action required
Following the change of sort code for all NCC bank accounts, cheques quoting the old sort code (20-62-53) will shortly no longer be valid. So if you are still currently using an old cheque book then you will need to order a new one straight away.
Chequebooks can be ordered on www.barclays.net page and selecting:
- Barclays.Net Security Help Centre
- Servicing support
- Online servicing
- Order a cheque book
More details are available in the attached instructions on how to do this.
Please note: cheques quoting the old sort code which are dated 5 October 2018 or earlier will be valid for the usual six (6) months from date of issue. Cheques issued after 5 October 2018 quoting the old sort code will be rejected by Barclays.
Any new cheque books ordered will automatically be sent out quoting the new sort code (20-62-61).
