It pulls together information that is already available for schools and parents into one place.

Royal Air Force service children and partners' experiences of communication - ARU report

Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) has produced a report called 'Navigating modern communication: Royal Air Force service children and partners' experiences of communication' which looks at how service families communicate, particularly during deployment.

This paper explores how RAF families communicate during periods of separation from their serving family member, and if (and how) they utilise social media and internet-based communication. By examining the challenges some faced in navigating communication and importantly what worked well for their family, this report adds insights into how to best support RAF families to maintain quality family communication, including making a series of practical recommendations to the Ministry of Defence, and the military charitable and third sector. Schools may find it useful in supporting service pupils.

Both papers are available at Achievements - Norfolk County Council also.
