Let's Talk About Wraparound event update

If you have previously tried to book onto this event but been unable to, due to an issue with the system, the issue has been resolved and you are now able to book one of the remaining places.

We are running our first ever conference focussing on supporting Norfolk schools and childcare providers to run high quality inclusive wraparound provision for primary aged children. The conference is taking place on Tuesday 23 April at The Nest in Norwich. This opportunity is being provided for all Norfolk schools and childcare settings who are looking to set up new or expand existing provision, and who wish to access the funding being made available to support that development.

Funding is only available for a short period and any school or provider interested in making an application is being encouraged to apply over the summer term to maximise this opportunity.Interested in getting involved then this fully funded event is for you!

See here for more details and a link to book on via the Provider Portal or alternatively email earlyyearschildcare@norfolk.gov.uk if you are unable to access the Portal.

Come along to the event to find out more about the programme and the funding available to support setting up or expanding current wraparound provision. There is funding available, tapered over 5 terms, which can be used to cover:

  • Staffing
  • Training
  • Transport costs
  • Resources and running costs whilst demand builds.

We will be joined on the day by guest speakers:

  • Caroline Noel - covering the business tools required for setting up or expanding provision.
  • Meynell Walter - delivering a keynote speech on inspirational playwork practice.

Local providers will be joining the event to talk about some real life case studies of how current provision has been set up and continues to run effectively.

Lunch will also be provided on the day.

If in the meantime you wish to find out more about the programme you will find a recent recording of our Wraparound Briefing, supporting materials, and guidance here.
