School admission policy : 2024/25 (Agreed)

In the event of over-subscription for places in Wimbotsham & Stow Academy the Governors will give preference to children living nearest the school according to the following criteria:

  • Children with a statement of Special Educational Needs naming that school.
  • Children who live within the designated area and:
  • Have a sibling attending the school at the time of their admission.
  • Have a sibling attending the local High school at the time of their admission.
  • Have no sibling attending the school or local High school at the time of their admission.
  • Children who reside outside the designated area and:
  • Have a sibling attending the school at the time of their admission.
  • Have a sibling attending the local High school at the time of their admission.
  • Have no brother or sister attending the school or local High school at the time of their admission.
