Chair of Governors All Community and VC Primary and
Secondary Schools
Dear
Colleague
Admissions
Consultation September 2004
Consultation packs were sent out 10th
January 2003 seeking comments on proposals for Community and Voluntary
Controlled schools admissions arrangements for September 2004. The packs referred to an admission
consultation web site which was being developed to allow schools to respond on
line. This is finally now available and
any comments can now be made via the Esinet web link to admissions
consultation.
The address is www.esinet.norfolk.gov.uk/pacs/admission.
Foundation and Voluntary Aided schools
who are responsible for their own admission arrangements are also required to
consult on their proposals for September 2004.
They are being invited to undertake their consultation via this
website. The names of schools who have
forwarded their proposals will appear in the table at the bottom of the above
web page. The link will take you to
that schools proposed arrangements and will allow comments to be submitted
regarding the proposals. Admission law
requires governors ( the admission authority) to have regard to any comments
when finalising this arrangement. The
final arrangements now approved will be displayed in this website as soon as
possible after 15th April 2003 and a further management information
sheet will be forwarded to schools when this occurs.
Yours
faithfully
Richard
