Summary of action required |
With effect from September 2001, for those pupils eligible for free school meals, you will need to enter both the "start date" and the "expiry date" of eligibility into your Phoenix Gold database (or similar system). Phoenix Gold users should go to Pupil Records, Quick Edit, Free School Meals, and for help click F1. Non-Phoenix Gold users should ensure that their system incorporates these two fields and that the pupil records are completed where appropriate. For Phoenix Gold users, the free school meal entitlement "start date" and "expiry date" will form part of your pupil export files submitted to the Management Information Centre in September 2001. If you do not use Phoenix Gold, please ensure that your system will generate these extra fields in your pupil export file. |
