	Summary of contents	Enclosed are copies of the Information for Parents Booklet for the 2001/02 school year. The booklet provides information to help parents decide which school they would like their child to attend.

	Summary of action required	Please distribute the booklet as follows: to parents of current year 2 pupils in infant schools to parents of current year 3 pupils in first schools to parents of current year 6 pupils in primary and junior schools to parents of current year 7 pupils in middle schools. Copies of the booklet may also be handed to parents seeking to enrol their child at a first, infant or primary school and to parents of pupils moving into Norfolk during the school year.
	To be completed by	Schools are requested to ensure that a copy of the booklet is enclosed with each letter when distributed to parents. Letters for pupils transferring from primary/junior/middle schools to high schools will be sent to schools shortly, if not already received. Letters for pupils transferring from first/infant schools will be sent to schools at the beginning of the spring term.
