The document sets out the guidelines agreed by Norfolk County Council and the Norfolk Health Authority on making information accessible.

The Disability Discrimination Act requires that we;

  • make all written information simple and easy to read
  • provide information in different ways
  • be aware of cultural differences and make adjustments to remove the barriers.

The document provides helpful advice and guidance to enable the requirements of the Act and our public duty to be met.
