Dear Colleague
Norfolk School’s Designated Teachers for Child Protection
Briefing Sessions 2000
From September 2000 there will be some critical changes to the Child Protection Procedures in Norfolk. These changes are the result of the Government’s new guidance documents "Working Together to Safeguard Children" and "A Framework for the Assessment of Children in Need".
In order to inform your school’s Designated Teacher for Child Protection, a series of briefing sessions will be held throughout the county.
It is important that your Designated Teacher or a representative from your school attends one of the sessions.
Please can you complete the attached form and return it to Mrs Grace Cheese, Principal Education Welfare Officer at County Hall by 16th June.
Yours sincerely
DR B SLATER
DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION
