The ten Local Education Authorities in the Eastern region have been involved in collaborative working with regard to pupils with additional and special educational needs since 1988. Recent activities undertaken by the regional group have included work focused upon the inclusion and standards agenda. The attached publication provides:

The publication will be of particular interest to colleagues within your school working closely with children with additional and special educational needs and also to governors and colleagues in your school with responsibility for strategic planning in relation to special educational needs.
