Dear Headteacher

I am writing to let you know that Chris Beek (Senior Education Officer – Pupil Access and Support Services) left the Authority at the beginning of October to work for Capita (Strategic Education Services). Steps are being taken to appoint his successor but in the meantime his work will be covered by the senior team of John Hickson, Alison Kahn, Sue Tallack and James Thatcher. Mike Shenstone, Assistant Director, Pupil Access and Community Services, will also be taking on a co-ordinating role. If there is an issue that you would previously take up with Chris, I would suggest that you share this with John. He will not necessarily deal with this himself but he will ensure that it is passed onto the appropriate person.

I would be grateful if you could pass this information on to any members of your staff (e.g. SENCOs) who need to know.
