Dear Colleague

I am writing to advise you of some temporary changes to the duties and responsibilities of senior staff within the Pupil Access and Support Services. Sue Tallack, has been seconded to work on a DfEE funded Inclusion Project until the end of March next year. Sue will take lead responsibility for developing some aspects of SEN provision and, in particular, will focus on developing links between special and mainstream schools and the development of more inclusive provision for a number of children who experience significant disabilities.

Alison Kahn, formerly Statement and Assessment Officer, has been seconded to replace Sue as Education Officer until the end of this financial year. Alison’s new duties will include:

• management and development activities related to the distribution of resources for

• the moderation of the annual pupil audit with special and mainstream schools;
• the co-ordination of monitoring arrangements; and

Until appropriate cover arrangements can be organised, Alison will continue to undertake her duties as Statement and Assessment Officer in the Thetford area.
