SCHOOL FUND AUDITED ACCOUNTS
Please note that school fund accounts must be audited annually as soon as possible after the end of the accounting year. An auditor, who is completely independent of the school, must certify the accounts and the governing body should minute their approval of the accounts. A copy of the audited accounts (certified statement and summary of receipts and payments), should be sent to the LEA for the attention of Finance Support, Education Financial and ICT Services.
An example set of accounts is enclosed for your information.
