The 2004 assessment data we currently hold will be
used in the forthcoming round of School Self Reviews, it is therefore important
that the data and the analyses based on it are as accurate as possible. The same data will be used to provide you with this year’s
value added analyses, transition matrices, and an update to the “Improving
Performance Step by Step” website. However we are aware that a number of schools have
had problems with marking at Key Stages 2 & 3 and our data may not include
all amendments and upgrades and so the analyses of your data will be wrong.
Unfortunately the DfES will not be issuing final data to LEAs until the end of
the Spring Term.
So that we can provide you, your governors, advisers
and officers with the most accurate analyses possible
we would be grateful if you would check that the data we currently hold is
accurate, especially if you are aware that there have been amendments. You can
check our summary results on Esinet, within the School Management Resources
password-protected area, under School Performance:
http://www.esinet.norfolk.gov.uk/core/perfcheck/.
These summary results have been generated by us from
individual pupil results, so if our figures for your school are incorrect, we
will need to have the amendments at pupil level. This can be provided by email, fax or post to Chris Jackson or
Mark Alexander (contact details below).
To have time to carry out the necessary preparatory
work we ask that you provide us with the updated information by Monday 18th
October 2004.
We appreciate that you may not have all
amendments by 18th October, particularly those relating to
borderline scores, but please give us what you have by then. If you have further amendments after this
date, please send these separately and we will update your results again.
