Dear Colleague
SENJIT (Special Educational Needs Joint Initiative for Training)
You may recall that the LEA has purchased a year’s subscription to the above, in order that teachers may have access to the additional training opportunities this offers.
I am writing to you now to draw your attention to the SENJIT Autumn Newsletter which has recently been mailed directly to schools (an A4 orange and white leaflet). This gives details of their autumn term course programme and includes some useful and significant training opportunities. In most cases, these courses are free to Norfolk teachers.
I hope that schools find the opportunity to access this programme beneficial. I would welcome any feedback from you in terms of the quality of the courses and the logistics of sending staff on them.
I may be emailed at steve.lord.edu@norfolk.gov.uk
Yours sincerely
Steve Lord
Senior Adviser for SEN
