Information required to assess Science and Technology Accommodation
DfES No: |
|
School: |
|
Science and Technology curriculum areas have been identified as priority areas for capital improvement in the LEA’s Asset Management Plan. We need information as to whether the amount of such accommodation at your school is sufficient.I would therefore be grateful if you would provide the following information by 7th October 2002. The information you provide will be combined with the suitability data we already have.
In providing these figures please be aware of the fact that the count of the use of specialist teaching rooms must exclude:
· Use of the space for non-specialist lessons e.g. use of a laboratory for teaching a non-science based subject.
· Use of the space because of convenience or opportunity e.g. the space being available; a group that would normally fit into a single room is split into two to take advantage of the spare space.
