In January this year we launched the e-courier, an internet version of
all the information sent to you weekly via the Courier service. It is updated
at noon on Friday for the mail you will receive the following Monday or
Tuesday.
The e-courier also carries information additional to that in the normal
courier service.
I am aware that some schools have wanted to access the e-courier, but
Internet infrastructure problems have made this difficult. Hopefully these have
been overcome so everyone can be included.
Schools that have been using the e-courier have reported benefits. These
benefits, the reason for the change, advice and tips are available on the
earlier Mi sheet
(number 42/02).
Because of the balance of benefits this way of communication brings, it
is our
preferred methodology. So I hope you and your colleagues will have a
look at the e-courier, get familiar with it and begin to use it as a regular
resource in your school.
