The DfES requires all schools* to complete the January
Pupil Level Annual Schools Census (PLASC) on 15th January 2004. All schools are requested to use the Phoenix Gold software
to produce the PLASC return. |

Upgrade your Phoenix database to version 1.23 (if you
haven't already done so) ·
To read the attached Phoenix Help sheets and userguide
(these can also be found on the above web site). ·
To complete on 15th
January 2004 and send to the Management Information Centre via the Secure
Data Transfer system the DfES PLASC file by
23rd January 2004. Any schools unable to return the PLASC file using SDT should send them in on
floppy disk to:- Jane Blackwell, Room B28, Education Dept, County Hall
