Summary of contents |
The attached
guidance note has been produced to provide schools with up to date
information regarding the management of head lice. It takes a more realistic approach that reflects present health
organisation thinking. The document
was created by the Education Department Health and Safety Team in
consultation with the Communicable Diseases Control Centre and the School
Health Advisory Teams across the County.
It replaces all previous documents issued by the Education Department
on this subject. Schools are
requested to destroy head lice guidance documents previously issued by the
Education Department. |
