DfES Pupil Level Annual Schools Census (PLASC) January 2003  

 

Summary of contents

The DfES requires all schools to complete the January Pupil Level Annual Schools Census (PLASC) on 16th January 2003.

All schools are requested to use their  PLASC compliant software to produce the PLASC return and associated files.

Summary of action required

·         To read the attached return checklist and additional guidance on the above web site

·         Download and set-up the Anycomms Secure Data Transfer Software (All schools) and Examinations Software (secondary schools only) if you have not completed this task already – see above web site for guidance.

·         To complete on 16th January 2003 and return via the Secure Data Transfer system the DfES PLASC file and associated files as mentioned on the attached information sheets by 24th January 2003. Any schools unable to return the PLASC and other files using SDT should send them in on floppy disk to:- The MIC, Room B28, Education Dept, County Hall Norwich, NR1 2DL
