The DfES requires all schools* to complete the January
Pupil Level Annual Schools Census (PLASC) on 16th January 2003. All schools are requested to use the Phoenix Gold software to produce the PLASC return and associated files. |

· To read the attached and previously issued Phoenix Help sheets (these can also be found on the above web site. · Download and set-up the Anycomms Secure Data Transfer Software (All schools) and Examinations Software (secondary schools only) if you have not completed this task already – see above web site for guidance. · To complete on 16th January 2003 and return via the Secure Data Transfer system the DfES PLASC and associated files as mentioned on the attached information sheets by 24th January 2003. Any schools unable to return the PLASC and other files using SDT should send them in on floppy disk to:- The MIC, Room B28, Education Dept, County Hall Norwich, NR1 2DL |
