REPORTING AND TRANSFER OF INFORMATION DOCUMENTATION – 2004

This letter accompanies the updated Transfer of Information booklet which gives details of both statutory requirements and LEA procedures for 2004.  The booklet may also be accessed and downloaded via Esinet at http://www.esinet.org.uk

NCC Home > Education Home > School Management & Governance > Managers and Administrators > School Administration

From 19th April 2004, the above link will take you to a page where you will also be able to access the following documentation:

§         SEN alert sheet;

§         Year 2 and Year 6 end of key stage reports (with all the necessary national comparative data);

§         Guidance and timescale for meeting statutory requirements and completion of the documentation entitled Transfer Information 2004;

§         Curriculum information sheets;

§         Formats for reports to parents.

I hope this will, once again, enable you to plan effectively for the transfer of information so that the maximum continuity and progression for pupils is assured as they move between schools.  Many clusters will have agreed further arrangements which reflect local needs and enhance the minimum, and the LEA fully supports these.

I hope you find this helpful.  Please don’t hesitate to contact Elizabeth Philpot (elizabeth.philpot@norfolk.gov.uk) or David Orsborne (david.orsborne@norfolk.gov.uk) at the Norwich PDC, Chris Jackson (chris.jackson@norfolk.gov.uk) in the Management Information Centre or Keith Sowter (Keith.Sowter@norfolk.gov.uk) at ICT Solutions if you have any questions.  They will be pleased to try and help.

Yours sincerely

Bryan Slater
