Re: KS3 ICT online testing

I am writing to make you aware of a significant development in relation to KS3 ICT.  In the Ofsted report, dated February 2004, there is the first reference to testing in ICT becoming statutory.

I enclose the URL to the appropriate web site:

http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/publications/index.cfm?fuseaction=pubs.summary&id=3540

The reference appears on the last two lines on page 7 of the report.

This development may influence your decision to consider involvement in the pilot for 2005.  I know some schools have already registered an interest in the pilot and I would encourage all schools to participate.

Full details about the ICT pilot can be found at http://www.ks3ictpilot.com/

Yours sincerely,
