PERFORMANCE PAY PROGRESSION FOR HEADTEACHERS, DEPUTIES AND ASSISTANT HEADTEACHERS – PPP3 FORM

Form PPP3 was sent to you on 30 August, 2002, in a pack with other forms issued by the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) concerning the funding of performance pay.

The deadline for returning the form to the LEA and therefore your school being awarded this grant is 31 December, 2002. I am required to submit a return to the DfES, and I have been advised they will not accept any late claims.

If the performance assessment process has not been carried out by this date, please inform me in writing by 31 December, 2002, detailing the probable outcome of the assessment. The LEA will claim the performance progression grant from the DfES and release the grant to the school once the PPP3 form is returned. If the assessment results in no point being awarded the grant will be returned to the DfES.
