An inclusion course has been organised for Key stage 1/2 teachers on Thursday 10th March at Framingham Earl High School on how to include pupils with a disability into PE lessons. This course will enable pupils with special educational needs, learning difficulties, physical or sensory impairments to play a full and meaningful role in PE. It has been developed by the English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) in partnership with the Youth Sport Trust. A practical one day course (9 - 4pm) designed for teachers, learning support assistants, SENCO's and AOTT's. Packed with inclusive sessions and new teaching strategies in line with the National Curriculum for PE 2000.
