“Creativity: Find it, promote it!”

 

QCA are now in the third year of a 3 year Project on “Creativity across the Curriculum”.   Linked to this, a trial teachers’ pack has been produced and Norfolk is one of the LEAs that has been selected for involvement in this stage of the project.

 

The pack contains information about creativity based on research and project findings, as well as a series of case studies that exemplify teachers promoting creativity in all national curriculum subjects across key stages 1, 2 and 3.  It also contains a proforma for schools who wish to share an example of their own good practice in this area with QCA.  The trial pack will be amended in the light of user response and the final version of the pack is expected to be generally available to all schools from Summer 2003.

 

If you wish to receive a photocopy of the trial project materials then please come to the Professional Development Centre, Norwich on Tuesday 15th October at 4.15 – 5.30pm. You will receive a photocopy of the pack and the opportunity to listen to a short presentation.  How the pack is then used or disseminated in school during the second half of this term, is for each individual school to decide.  The LEA will gather responses (a short questionnaire) on behalf of QCA by Friday 13th December.
