Last year a group of Advisers and Link Teachers were able to attend the International Conference at Reggio Emilia, Italy. Included was the opportunity to study the provision for young children in the Pre-schools. It was an amazing experience to observe the work of the educators in Reggio, who claim with confidence that all children are ‘rich, strong and powerful learners’.

Sightlines – the English branch of ‘Reggio Children’ are hoping that they will be invited by ‘Reggio Children’ to organise a week’s study group to visit the Pre-schools in Reggio Emilia sometime next year. We would very much like to apply for a group of Norfolk Headteachers to be part of the group. The overall cost including accommodation and travel will be in the region of £2000.
