Talking Partners Inset Spring Term 2003
Talking Partners is an intensive 10 week oral intervention programme linked to the NLS for children in Yrs. R - 4. It targets children who need oral language enrichment and practice in focused listening and/or speaking skills. LSAs are trained to deliver the programme and supported during the first run.

Language Support Service and Norfolk NLS team are working together to bring
this programme to schools.

For the first
run the programme is externally co-ordinated
Interested? The
following dates have been set for training. Each training has three parts. Head
Teachers/SMT briefing, LSA training and
school Co-ordinator training. The schools is then able to run the programme
independently. Dates for the first course are tight to enable schools to run a
programme next term. Good pre - SATs time. Oral rehearsal for writing?
