Meet Sir George, his family and staff and other ‘Dickensian’ characters.

 

Watch a ‘Victorian’ Punch and Judy Show.

 

See what parts of the house may have looked like in 1870.

 

Play with skipping ropes, hoops and tops.

 

Croquet and bowls on the lawn (if fine).

 

Eat a hearty ‘Victorian’ lunch of thick

homemade soup with bread, cheese and an apple or

snack on hot sausages, scones and cakes.

 

Buy sweetmeats and souvenirs.

 

Explore the grounds and gardens as the gold, yellow and

reds of autumn transform the landscape.

 

Can you solve the mystery of the Victorian Treasure Hunt Game ?
