Finals at UEA, on MONDAY 21^ST MARCH. {Rain date Tuesday 22nd} The tournament format will be round robin with the winners decided by league points system, 2 pts a win, 1 pt a draw. Teams level on points will be separated by goals scored. Please do not ask the score table where your school is, just keep a track of your own points. If you could provide 1 runner from umpire to scoring table that would be a help.

Matches will be 6 mins. flat with 2 mins turn round.

All competing schools will be awarded a certificate. Winners receive trophy for school and gold individual medals, Runners up trophy and silver medals and third place receive bronze medals. Last years winners please bring trophies!

Match balls will be provided and umpires will be neutral, but closer to the date of the tournament final clarification will be faxed out. Please bring someone able/ willing to umpire just in case!

On the day the first matches will begin at 1:15. Time keeping will be very strictly enforced. Please note if you miss the start of a match you will automatically lose any matches 5-0, even if you arrive late for a start the official score will go down as 5-0.

What is planned is a whole afternoon tournament with @250 players spread over all 8 courts at the UEA. There will be empty courts for warming up and practising on etc. Cancellation time will be noon on Monday. If it looks off then you’ll know by then. Plans will remain in place for Tuesday.

Remind your players to provide themselves with snacks/drinks/protective clothing etc. I will probably be on high stress levels so if I blank you I apologise now! If funds allow there may well be an award for fairplay, but I’m not sure yet.
