Come to Lynn Museum for a carousel of activities focussing on life in the 1940s including, rationing, make do and mend, code breaking and handling 1940s objects.

The Town House Museum can offer a range of sessions in which children are able to look at, handle and examine ‘real’ objects. The following handling sessions are available;

·	Tudor objects
·	Victorian domestic objects
·	Victorian costume
·	1940s/ 50s objects
·	World War II objects
·	Roman/ Egyptian objects

Bring your group for a 45 minute session combined with a look at our period rooms.

We can also combine sessions for a longer visit such as Victorian handling + washday activities for a small additional charge..

Saturday Art Club

For the Under 9s.

 

A Saturday Art Club has been running at the Ancient House Museum since October half term. The club, which is free, is funded by the Imagine project and runs sessions from10.30 – 12.30 and 13.30 – 14.30.

 

 

 

Visiting the Ancient House Museum

 

Visits to the Ancient House Museum are free to schools, although there will be a small charge for special events.
