LIVING CRIB at CHRISTMAS

This Christmas will be even more special for all those

visitors and pilgrims who come to Norwich Cathedral!

From 6th December onwards we will have a ’Living Crib’ situated in the centre of the cloister.  We have worked in partnership with local artists to create life-size replicas of the holy family in the stable and even plan to populate the crib with animals from Easton College. Several Libby Purves’ cribs will compliment the cloister Living Crib, which will be located within the Cathedral.

*

This is a wonderful opportunity for children to come and

experience the great joy and meaning of Christmas.

School visits to the crib are free of charge and are possible from Monday 9th December onwards.

Please telephone Saul Penfold on 01603 218320 to make a booking. We look forward to welcoming you.

MAXIMUS MOUSE RETURNS!

We are once more delighted to be welcoming children’s author Brian Ogden to us for four days of storytelling and discovery with the ever popular Maximus Mouse.

Each day now consists of four workshops –

storytelling, music and song, stained glass and searching the Cathedral with Noah to find the hidden animals. The

activities conclude as we worship together in the Nave.

Maximus will be with us on Wed 26th Feb, Mon 10th March, Wed 19th March and Wed 2nd April and each day will run from 10.00am until 2.15pm. The cost will be £3 per pupil (teachers free) and places are strictly limited to 100 each day.

Please book early to avoid disappointment.
