If you would
like to attend both sessions, please bring a food contribution for a shared

Trevor Hawes
Trevor Hawes
is one of the leading experts on the learning brain. A former Assistant Director of Education, Trevor has for the last
five years headed the Optimal Learning Group, worked with over 5,000 schools
and trained over 60,000 teachers and parents. He has advised a number of LEAs
on the development of early years services and training for childhood
educators.
Trevor has
addressed Headteachers in Norfolk on a number of occasions and run INSET days
in many of Norfolk’s schools. His sessions are typically described as ‘fun’,
‘highly informative’, ‘inspirational’ and ‘a must for every teacher and
parent’.
With Sara
Shaw he co-authored the best selling book ‘Teaching and Learning in the Primary
Classroom’.
We expect a
high demand for Trevor’s seminar (last
year over fifty delegates attended our training day led by Margy Walley) so
please do not delay too long in returning your registration form, or you may be
disappointed.

The day will
be run as two separate sections, in the afternoon there will be a chance to
explore topics in greater depth in small groups.
Glebe House
School and Hunstanton First School will be providing the coffee, tea, soft
drinks and biscuits.
If you would
like to stay for the afternoon session you are asked to bring a food
contribution for the lunch table, please indicate whether you will be bringing
a sweet or savoury item on your booking form.
As a guide it is always better to err on the side of savoury, but if there
seems to be a huge imbalance, you may receive a phone call to request you
change your contribution.

From King’s Lynn:
Follow the
A149 to Cromer. At 1st roundabout take 2nd exit to Cromer. At 2nd roundabout take 2nd exit to
Cromer. At 3rd roundabout take 1st exit
to Cromer.
At fourth
roundabout take 1st exit to Cromer. At fifth roundabout on outskirts of
Hunstanton take 3rd exit to Cromer.
Stay on this road past a big school, past the recreation ground, and
after a right hand bend you will see Glebe House School on your right. It has large blue signs outside which cannot
be missed.
From
Fakenham:
Follow the
A148 to King’s Lynn. Just before the Q8 garage on the right hand side is the
B1454, take this road and follow to the end. You will join the A149 at Norfolk
Lavender, turn right. At roundabout you
will be on the outskirts of Hunstanton.
Take third exit to Cromer. Stay
on this road past a big school, past the recreation ground, and after a right
