January 2004
Dear colleague
I’m writing with
information about forthcoming events and developments for schools at Roots of
Norfolk.
Last year demand was
so high for our Key Stage 2 events, Victorian
Activity Days and Evacuee Day,
that we have put on extra days in 2004.
These days will be in
March and reflect our growing use of the museum’s out of season period to
support schools activities. This recent
development, which has seen us running Victorian Days in November and Victorian
Christmas in December, has been very popular with schools.
You can find full
information about our Key Stage 2 events in March, including how to book
overleaf.
We will send you our 2004 Education Programme in the coming
weeks. It includes a wide range of events
and activities for all ages.
We will be holding a teachers’ preview on Tuesday 30 March from
4pm to 5pm.
Previews are a chance
to visit the site, meet the education team and to get a flavour of the work we
do for schools. To book a place just call
01362 869251 or email gressenhall.museum@norfolk.gov.uk
All best wishes for a
successful year and we look forward to working with you in 2004.
Yours sincerely
Colly Mudie
Education Officer
