Mike Loades is an action arranger and historical consultant and broadcaster. He runs a team who provide specialist action skills for all historical periods. He has appeared regularly on television as a weapons historian in over 40 documentaries.

His own video company has produced best selling videos on sword fighting and archery. He has taught period fighting skills to drama students for 25 years and also choreographs for theatre and opera.

He is currently working on writing and presenting a 5 part series for Channel 4
