Come and enjoy the autumn glories of Holt Hall Outdoor Learning Centre set amid 87 acres of lakes, gardens and ancient woodland. Usually closed to the general public this is a rare opportunity to sample the work that goes on at the Centre and to explore wildlife, science and art through a range of fun activities.

Children will be able to take part in nature inspired art and craft activities, storytelling and face painting, hunt for mini beasts, explore the Forest School outdoor classroom and lots more.

Adults can enjoy woodland and wildlife walks, demonstrations in the Roots and Shoots Victorian walled garden as well as advice on home composting.
For those interested in a bargain there will be a car boot sale happening alongside the Open Day (please call for details).

Holt Youth Project, Norfolk Wildlife Trust, Gressenhall Museum Service and Holt Hall volunteers group will all be helping out.

There are a range of indoor activities, as well as outdoor ones, so whatever the weather there will be plenty for Norfolks families to enjoy.

Entrance is free to pedestrians. There will be a £3 parking charge and most of the activities are free of charge.

There will be a BBQ and light refreshments available throughout the day. Sorry no dogs except guide dogs can be admitted.
