This is a 1 day learning seminar with speakers and workshops, aimed at Parent Support Advisers, Family Support Workers, Family Health Practitioners and Parenting Practitioners.
- Explore opportunities which may enable families to become economically secure and widen aspirations
- Understand the importance of new parent powers in schools and the impact on behaviour, anti bullying practice and Ofsted outcomes
- Raise awareness of local and national parenting and family support structures, service provision and policy
- Create the opportunity to share good practice and lessons learned and take away some practical tips and ideas that can be used to enhance work with families to improve outcomes for children
