The context for careers education and information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) for young people is changing rapidly in England. The planned statutory changes to the responsibilities on schools, colleges and the local authority for careers guidance, and to careers education and work-related learning in the 11-19 curriculum will have a major impact on CEIAG for Norfolk's young people. The current partnership model for CEIAG between schools, colleges and Norfolk's IACG services faces a defining 12 months in the run-up to September 2012.
This Conference is aimed at senior leaders and careers/IAG coordinators in schools, complex needs schools, academies, colleges, short stay schools and work-based training organisations, and at CIN Team Managers, Assistant Team Managers and Guidance Advisers.
This Conference is for Secondaries, Academies, Complex Needs Schools, Short Stay Schools, Colleges of FE, Sixth Form Colleges, Work Based Learning Providers, Employers, Children in Need teams, other key stakeholders.
This Conference will be led by Melvyn Ruff, Karin Porter and Claire Jones.
