Would you like to learn more about the latest Ofsted training pack for Primary School History Coordinators?
Are you a Secondary History Teacher who would like to explore and support the transition from KS2 to KS3 History?
Are you looking at further exciting ways of integrating literacy and creativity within well crafted History topics?
This one day conference is aimed at Primary school staff who teach of have a responsibility for history, Secondary History Teachers who would like to learn more about KS2 History and work more closely with KS2 History Coordinators. It will explore a variety of ideas for creating engaging and rigorous learning in the subject. Participants will also learn about the key findings from the latest HMI report on History, inspection findings and recommendation, and the latest training pack from Ofsted.
National speakers will include Dr Michael Maddison (HMI and National Adviser for History) and Andrew Wrenn (Author and History Adviser for Cambridgeshire).
Practical workshops will be led by Colly Mudie (Norfolk Museums and Archaeology Service), Victoria Draper (Norfolk Record Office) and Anne Roe (NIEAS).
