***** Training for Trainers in Safeguarding ******
Due to high demand for in-school training and train the trainer sessions we are now offering a half day Training for Trainers in Safeguarding on 4 December 2014.
The training is suitable for any SDPs who wish to further develop their skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver safeguarding training for staff within school.
One sessions is available and will be 9-12pm . Course code is ENSE6. Cost is £90 per delegate. Lunch is not supplied but refreshments will be available.
The sessions will be held at Norwich PDC.
Course Aim:
To support Senior Designated Professionals to develop skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver safeguarding training for school staff and volunteers.
Objectives:
- To enable staff who are engaged in training to develop skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver training.
- Demonstrate awareness of the emotional component of training and identify strategies for managing this.
- Identify the barriers to learning and training methods to overcome these barriers.
- To provide an opportunity for Senior Designated Professionals to develop safeguarding training skills in a safe environment.
Please note that this is an interactive course requiring all delegates to participate in group activities.
