Support through optional cluster meetings for those schools not being statutorily moderated in 2009

For the past nine years, optional cluster meetings have been offered to schools, and the LA is keen to continue to provide this support. This year there will be an opportunity for schools who wish it to participate in an optional cluster meeting.

Cluster meetings will be led by a trained LA moderator. The purpose of the meeting will be to verify the assessments and discuss issues arising. These meetings will be organised in the cluster and will need to be funded by the schools from an advice and support package or contract (i.e. a half day's cost shared among participating schools).
