Modern Reward Strategy Newsletter 22 - July 2009

Modern Reward Strategy Newsletter 22 - July 2009

On 25 June, Paul Adams, Director of Corporate Resources and Cultural Services, sent notification to all staff announcing that Members of the Personnel Committee have asked Anne Gibson, Head of HR and OD, to invite all employees to agree individually to the MRS proposal.

This newsletter gives you much more information and:

  • explains why this decision was made
  • explains what happens next
  • answers some of your questions

This MRS newsletter is available earlier than originally anticipated.

    Actions for Headteachers:

Ensure your staff see a copy. It will be important to discuss this change of approach with your staff so that:

  • they are not worried about some of the legal terminology used
  • they understand that action is now necessary to move forward with the MRS proposal
  • they know that more information and support will be provided on an ongoing basis

It will be important that you:

  • encourage your staff to feed back any views to the MRS team via mrs@norfolk.gov.uk
  • encourage your staff to remain patient as it is not possible to provide all information at this early stage

It is important for you to be available for group or one to one discussions with staff members so they have the opportunity to discuss any issues and queries.

    Thank you.
