DCSF Value for Money Consultancy Service
Children's Services Finance would like to bring to your attention the following scheme which has been implemented by the Department for Children Schools and Families (DCSF) to help schools get the best from their resources. The scheme gives all maintained schools in England one free day of Value for Money consultancy to look at any challenges they might be facing. Schools can select two out of six areas to discuss on their visit which can range from workforce planning through to governance issues.
Education specialists spend a day with school management teams to explore the key challenges facing the school and to identify actions that will help them get the most from their spending.
