Privacy Notices (Formerly Fair Processing)
Please find privacy notice for 2009/10 from the Department of Children, Schools and Families to be issued to all parents and pupils over the age of 12. There are guidance notes which detail the requirements with respect to 'Fair processing' under the Data Protection Act and passing information to Connexions (Secondary age only).
Use the web page link above to find associated supplementary information (formerly named layer2) and information on what the DCSF does with the data collected.
Supplementary information and what the DCSF does, does not need to be issued unless parents/young people do not have access to a computer.
These can also be added to the school website, where a web page is available.
Please note there is one notice this year that covers all schools rather than individual ones for primary and Secondary.
On all documents you must fill in the school details (marked in red), where appropriate.
