Key Stage 1 Moderation 2010 - Support Through Optional Cluster Meetings
Support for this is available through optional cluster meetings for those schools not being statutorily moderated in 2010.
For the past ten years, optional cluster meetings have been offered to schools, and the LA is keen to continue to provide this support. This year there will again be an opportunity for schools who wish to participate in an optional cluster meeting.
Cluster meetings will be led by a trained LA moderator. The purpose of the meeting will be to verify the assessments and discuss issues arising. These meetings will be organised in the cluster and will need to be funded by the schools from an advice and support package or contract (i.e. a half day's cost shared among participating schools).
If you are interested in this option, please liaise with your cluster and the cluster representative and then email Elizabeth Philpot at the Norwich Professional Development Centre (01603 433276) by 10th May 2010.
