Senior Designated Professional Training
Course Reference ENSA1
Further to the management information sheet MI 37/10; training dates are now available for Senior Designated Professionals. These dates can be accessed and places booked via www.cpd.norfolk.gov.uk using the reference ENSA1.

In order to comply with statutory guidance it is important that the Senior Designated Professional and the Alternate access this training once every two years. To ensure that you are clear and understand the differences between:

Designated Staff Records
All schools need to keep updated their on-line recording of the staff with designated roles for safeguarding, LAC and SEN and the associated training undertaken within the last 3-year period. This is done via the Designated Staff section on the My School website. Please ensure that your records are up to date. During the Summer Term, an audit of these records will be undertaken by Kelly Waters, Safeguarding Adviser, in order to ensure that schools are compliant with their statutory responsibilities in this area.
