By now all schools should know their initial One to One Tuition allocation for 2010/11. For many schools this has meant an increase in the numbers of pupils who will have the opportunity to benefit from One to One Tuition. Schools have been asked to plan how they intend to roll out their allocation across the year and the key stage.

In order to help schools with the recruitment of new tutors, we have set up the following:

An easy to use tutor database. On the Norfolk Schools website go to HR, then the Supply Teaching Service and find the link to One to One Tutor Search.

2.

Tutor Recruitment Fairs. We have invited tutors from across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire to attend recruitment fairs at the High Schools below. This is an opportunity for primary and secondary schools to recruit and shortlist tutors and for tutors to make themselves known to schools. The events will take place between 4.30 and 6.00 p.m. Each event will be introduced by an adviser and then tutors will be able to visit the schools' representatives, who will have tables around the school hall.
